(2m - n + m) / (n-m)?

What is the numerical value of the expression (2m - n + m) / (n-m)?

(1) 2m / (n - m) = 7/3
(2) nm = 6

OA:
SPOILER: A

(2m - n + m) / (n-m)
==> (2m)/(n-m) - 1
Use 1) to get the answer
2) cannot give you the answer.
Hence answer is A

Hmmmm aren't we assuming here n-m is not equal to zero? Therefore IMO C is the answer.

2m-(n-m)/(n-m)=2m/(n-m)-1 so stmt 1 suff
stmt 2 insuff as value of m is needed. ans A.

We need not assume that.It is implicitly stated in 1.

If at all n-m=0,2m/n-m would not be 7/3.

Strange.. I am getting D.

Stmt 1: As explained by everyone.
Stmt 2: 2m-n+m / n-m = 2m-(n-m) / n-m = (2m/n-m) -1 =0

So, 2m/n-m = 1
So, 2m/6 = 1 i.e. 2m = 6.. so, m = 3 and n=9. Suff

Anything wrong??
