Please tell me the best strategies for reading comprehension - GMAT . (Brief)

Preview (1/2 minute)
Read (1 1/2 minute)
Review (1/2 minute)
Additionally, as you Preview, Read and Review jot down the name gist of each paragraph. This is the strategy that I use, however there are many others out there that work for different people. This particular strategy is the best for those that have a hard time retaining what they read for the first time.

Read, Read and Read some more. Try reading the Economist. This particular journal will help you become familiar with the layout of well written english, which is relatively close to what ETS writes out as well.
