Buddy if you select D then you are asserting that 'scientists' are the one who are removing it from human cadavers.

 

you are bringing new info here. May be scientists just do research and doctors are the ones who are removing.

 

From 'A' we can just deduce that before scientists learned, it was being removed and as A consist of grammatical errors we need to choose the correct option with out the change in the meaning.
