Will go with C for the 1st question. OA pls?

A - article 'the' is not needed...

B - same as above

D - that was is ambigous

E - Past perfect is not needed. Also it sounds like it was a method and is no longer one.

Can you please underline the sentences that need to be corrected. Its just easier to read then Thanks..
