Here is my two cents
Instead - (Adverb) - alternative, substitute Ex- We ordered tea but we were served coffee instead Instead of – (Prepositional phrase) – in lieu of Ex- We were served coffee instead of tea My observation Instead requires the structure of compound sentence Instead of requires the structure of simple sentence thanks upal |
