I want to know why did we reject the first portion of B? why can it be "the Aramaic script with it"? also, why did we choose derive and not derived?

B is incorrect because the closest referrant of WHICH (from which deriving)
is IT and IT refers to empire.Aphabets cannot derive from an empire.
Moreover,DERIVING usage is wrong

Option B is wrong because...

"which" refers to "it" (Achaemenid empire) instead of "Aramaic script."

Indian alphabets is the subject determining the verb "derive"..

So choice C is the best..
