    'come down' vs 'touch down'

Which of the two sentences are correct ??

    (1) Now that the fog has cleared, the flight is expected to touch down any time now.

    (2) Now that the fog has cleared, the flight is expected to come down any time now.

The difference is only in 'Touch down' Vs 'Come down'.

Re: 'come down' vs 'touch down'

Well "touch down' for flights is better than "come down"
but I think both are wrong.

Thr flight is expected to touch down now that the fog has cleared.

Redundant use of "now" in the sentences you posted dose not sound good to me

    Thanx Chimni,
Official Answer also says its should be "touch down".

I agree with you that both the sentences employ redundant use of 'now'.
