Difference btw "agree upon" and "agree to"

    Hi All,

what is the difference between Agree Upon and Agree to?
In what context is each phrase used?

Ok... i think it is Agree upon when it is a consensus or an unanimous decision by a group

Agree to - he was forced to agree to the proposal

Can some one confirm if this is correct?
