Active / Passive voice

In 2 B/n C and D why only active voice is wrong?

2. Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into a special fund, with the intention to sustain the state’s economy after the exhaustion of its oil reserves.

(A) fund, with the intention to sustain the state’s economy after the exhaustion of its oil reserves

(B) fund, the intention of which is to sustain the state’s economy after they have exhausted their oil reserves (active -- incorrect)

© fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted (passive -- correct)

(D) fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after exhausting its oil reserves (active -- incorrect)

(E) fund that they intend to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted

3. Camille Claudet worked continuously through the 1880’s and early 1890’s with the sculptor Auguste Rodin; since there are very few signed works of hers, the inescapable conclusion seems to be one of Claudet conceiving and executing part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period.

(A) inescapable conclusion seems to be one of Claudet conceiving and executing part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period (active -- incorrect)

(B) conclusion of Claudet conceiving and executing part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period seems inescapable (active -- incorrect)

© conclusion seems inescapable that part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period was conceived and executed by Claudet (passive -- correct)

(D) conclusion of part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period having been conceived and executed by Claudet seems inescapable

(E) seemingly inescapable conclusion is that Claudet would have conceived and executed part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period (active -- incorrect)

Explantions are :

Re : Alaska

(B) fund, the intention of which is to sustain the state’s economy after they have exhausted their oil reserves (active -- incorrect)

© fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted (passive -- correct)

(D) fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after exhausting its oil reserves (active -- incorrect)

In B ' they ' have no clear refferant ,'Alaska ' or ' ...economy' which is being referred to ? Also ' fund, the intention of which...' is unidiomatic, it is not 'the intention of the fund' but 'the fund is intended for certain use'

In C ' state's economy........its oil reserve...' is wrong, not the voice.

RE : Claudet

A) inescapable conclusion seems to be one of Claudet conceiving and executing part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period (active -- incorrect)

This is wrong because '....seems to be one of Claudet....' is ungrammatical and needs a proper conjunction

(B) conclusion of Claudet conceiving and executing part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period seems inescapable (active -- incorrect)

Apart from any other thing it needs a verb. Also ' conclusion of Claudet ....' needs a conjunction . Wrong

© conclusion seems inescapable that part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period was conceived and executed by Claudet (passive -- correct)

It places conjunction ' that ' in proper place and conveys the meaning correctly.

(D) conclusion of part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period having been conceived and executed by Claudet seems inescapable

(E) seemingly inescapable conclusion is that Claudet would have conceived and executed part of Rodin’s enormous production of that period (active -- incorrect

'...Claudet would have ......' wrong use of tense. Also 'conclusion seems inescapable' is far more idiomatic ,in this context than '.. seemingly inescapable conclusion ...'
