There is a modifier problem in the original sentence. after the modifying phrase and the comma it should be rice and nuthing else.. so that leaves us with E and B. But in E there is one more problem introduced ( parallelism ) .. higher quality of protien is compared to wheat.. not comparable.

Guys Correct me if I am wrong in my explanation. By the way what does IMO mean?

Rule 1: Who has more protein than wheat does? Rice. Eliminate A,C,D.
E has wrong comparison between "protein in rice" and "wheat". Should've been compared to "protein in wheat".

B is correct.
