I chose b.
c: much recent attack.. what does the much modify.. in the original sentence it is 'many attacks' and the choice changes it to meaning the 'most recent attack'. d: was changes the tense wrongly. e: 'to be revised' is future tense. the law is currently under revision. changes the meaning. hence b. |

I think that the right answer is B. My reasoning is similar to DELTASQUARE. a) Not proper. If you use "recently", you will use Present Perfect Tense. b) OK c) Changes the meaning. It indicates that the revision is "because of" the attacks. Also, it indicates "much recent attack" while the Original indicates "many attacks". d) Changes the meaning. It indicates "was finally revised" using a different Tense (in Past) from the Original. e) Changes the meaning. It indicates "to be revised" using a different Tense (in Future) from the Original. I hope this explanation helps you. Cheers. Last edited by CACERJ01 : 06-04-2008 at 04:58 PM. |
