What do I do to Improve my Vocabulary for GMAT????..Pls help.

On a scale of 10 I will rate myself as 5 in vocabulary.

can sone one provide pointres to how can I improve my vocabulary????

When you are solving Official Guide, actively look at new words. That should be sufficient. Moreover, learning in context will help retain the meaning.

Hi damsel02,

I improved my Vocabulary by reading something different from my routine at Office (I am an Accountant). For example, I read articles in English about Politics, Technology, Science, Health, etc. in order to get a better understanding. As you can imagine, I found many words that I do not understand. So, I try to figure out the meaning and then I confirm it with Dictionary (Dictionary.com)

A good Web that I can recommend you is The New York Times (The New York Times - Breaking News, World News & Multimedia). Reading on-line would help you not only with vocabulary but also with reading in front of your computer -as the GMAT is-
