Hi,

I am in India (Bangalore to be specific) & EZ Solutions books are not available in India either for online ordering or in the bookstores.

Hence the only option I have is to order it online on Amazon & get it delivered through International shipping which will take sometime.

I would like to get feedback from GMAT gurus as to which of the 9 books from the EZ series are required if I need to brush up my Math strategies. I am not looking at help with basic maths, but advanced.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Regards,
Shyam

I have all the 10 EZ GMAT books and here is my opinion:

For Basic to Medium Math Concepts:
-Arithmetic
-Algebra
-Applications
-Geometry
Note: There are parts in these boosk which are of advanced level, such as: quadratic equations, algebraic functions, etc.

For more Advanced Concepts:
-Word Problems
-Basic Workbook
-Logic & Stats
-Advanced Workbook
-Math Strategies
Note: There are parts in these boosk which are not of very advanced level, except the Advanved WB which is of 700+ level.

I hope this was helpful to you guys. I paid $219.95 for all 10 books with free shipping and I am still finishing them up.

I agree with Rocky77. I have all the 10EZ math’s books as well. I have just started and it seems that these EZ books along with OG at the end should be more than enough for Quant.

I agree. I wish the EZ Verbal books had already been released so I could use them too. Has anyone looked at the EZ Test-takers manual? Since I haven't looked at it, I'm curious if it has useful info or is just a re-hash of much of the info found in the introductions of most other books?

I know I wish EZ Solutions had the verbal books, hopefully they will come up with them soon enough.

About the EZ GMAT Test Taker's Manual - I have this book and it basically has tips about how to take the GMAT and prepare for it. It has no math or verbal. It's useful if you are lost and dont know how to paln your prep. The most useful thing I found in it was the section on CAT - it explains really well how to approach the Computer Adaptive Test format, which is usefull, especially for someone like me who has never taken it before.

Since I've looked at a variety of books besides EZ, I decided against getting the Test-takers manual. I just focused on the main subjects from EZ. Thank you for the info though. I appreciate it. I also didn't look at the Basic Workbook because by the time I started looking at EZ books, I had been studying for a while and felt I had progressed beyond that level. Did you find the basic workbook to be very helpful?

I had initially bough the EZ Advanced Workbook, which completely threw me off. Then I got the EZ Basic Workbook to start from a level where I felt more comfortable.

In short, if you feel you are scoring 650+ then you may skip the Basic and just get the Advanced one, if not, it would be helpful to get both.

I am not vert good at maths but not very bad either.. In my last GMATPrep, I scored 51 in Quant but still need more for confidence..
That's why, I think spending 210$ is too much for books that I am not going to use a lot..
Is it possible to make a group, say 3-4 people and buy these books?
I am Pune, Maharastra, India and prefer to make group with someone from the same city so we can share the books.
Why? Because I want to see these books having heard of them so much.. Not a single person said bad about these books. Quite surprising!

I tried the Advanced too in the beginning and it was overwhelming. But I did not consider myself to be still in the basic stages. I have some advanced materials that I'm saving to study last, before I take the test, specifically EZ Advanced, Project GMAT, and Math Workout by Sapienti.
