It should be harder in india and china to compensate for all of the cheating.

So...u want to say...indians cheat on the exam...it seems that u dont know how professionally the gmat is conducted....
but the case is...we dont cheat and still TM members from india have got more than 700...
If we had cheated then we would have got 810

I think you guys need to brush up on your GMAT critical reasoning skills.....saying that there is a lot of cheating in a population is NOT the same as saying that ALL members of that population cheat. It doesn't even mean tht a high percentage of the population cheats. I got ya with the old part/whole relationship trap

I really doubt that in INDIA where GMAt has gained popularity may be in last 5 years ( and still outnumbered by CAT... the 'papa' of GMAT...by the numebrs of people appearing)
any cheating is possible at all. Then why would all these bright minds would spend so much energy in TM ?

I think that's not true and that's a mere assumption. Anyway my knowledge tells that only a good score can't guarantee a seat in a top MBA school.So it's very simple either you conquer the GMAT or try again.

I think that GMAT is gaining lot of popularity in India with schools like ISB preferring GMAT scores

Its not like that, it is true that number of potentail GMAT takers are high in india but for this you can not conculde that GMAT is tough in india.
