Hi
I am not generally bad in reading comprehension but my scoring accuracy is fluctuating enough to scare me. I generally get <80% right in reading comprehension. 2 weeks back i gave GMAT prep and scored GMAT Prep 1 650 GMAT Prep II 690 Have my gmat in a week. So was concentrating on all areas that i have picked up as weak over the last 2-3 weaks and decided to work on them and have given a couple of tests. Kaplan 540, 610, 650. and GMAT test code 14 690 GMAT test code 42 690. Manhattan GMAT online 650 Princeton Review 690 What has been irritating is that i have never been able to cross 700 ! Today i decided to try the free Princeton test and got a 680. I got 3 wrong in Quant , 2 silly mistakes my bad. And got just 1 wrong in each SC and critical reasoning, which really was good to see. However my reading comprehension had gone for a total toss. I got 9 wrong with 7 in the 'reading comprehension Specific' subsection. Can some one guide me as to what flaw is this pointing to ? Or any other tips on reading comprehension. I am generally not bad at reading comprehension but obviously got razed. Thanks, ![]() |
