Is it me or is the OG 12 quant harder than the OG 11
I was feling comfortable with the OG 11 and the local library got #12. I'm glad I did because I think the difficukty level has been upped a notch between 11 and 12 for the quant section. Some of the questions around 150 ish for the problem solving are quite convoluted, there are several questions on sets, series and systems of equations that aren't there in such obvious form in OG 11. For the Data sufficiency, the questions are way more abstract and emphasize "plug and chug" a lot less. Boy, I honestly think that people who say not to bother with the OG 12 if you already have OG 11 are pasing out bad advice. That is just my opinion.
PS- I think that the claim of increasing order of difficulty should be taken VERY lightly- some of the questions in PS from 125-175 seem ~700+ level, judging from the questions and topics of the questions sourrounding what I consider these outlier questions. Other Thiughts???? |
