Now that B schools are beginning to accept GRE scores in lieu of GMAT scores, I think it would be interesting to try comparing "apples to oranges" and guesstimate a GRE-GMAT correlation. Anybody have any bright ideas? Percentile comparisons? Weighted averages?
Let's see, I got a GRE 670V 770Q 5.5 AWA. That puts me in the 95th, 88th, and 90th percentile, respectively. Comparing to GMAT, this would put me in the 700-710 range. Sound about right? Any method is going to be inherently flawed because the test emphasize difference areas but it's worth a shot. Thoughts? - AFB |
