It is hard to give exact advice with more details, but the short answer would be: get the Official Guide if you don't have it already, practice on the SC section, and (most importantly), read the explainations in the Official Guide carefully. I mean, read them over until you understand them well. It will probably mean reading them over 2 or 3 times in some cases (I had to do this).
If you are having trouble understanding some of the technical grammar terms in the Official Guide SC explainations, you should brush up with an basic grammar book. Just to be clear, you don't need to know these grammar terms for the GMAT test itself, you need to know them to study more effectively for the GMAT.
