Wanted EZ Solutions and Kaplan GMAT Books!

I am looking for the following used books urgently:

-Kaplan Advanved GMAT 2009
-Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook 2009
-EZ Solutions Logic and Stats GMAT
-EZ Solutions Advanved Workbook GMAT

If someone has successfully passed the GMAT and want to sell these books, I will be very much interested in buying if the prices are reasonable.

PS: I already have all other EZ and Kaplan books, these are the only ones i am missing, so please help!

I have all the books you have listed but sorry they are not sale because I still need them. I suggest you look at amazon or ebay.

On another note, can you tell me if you found the Kaplan book usefull for difficult problems? I have the EZ Advanced WB but I not quite at that level yet, so can you suggest any book that has questions of slightly lower difficulty level.

I agree the EZ Advanced WB is tough; however, I suggest that you take a look at the EZ Basic Workbook. With Kaplan's book, you are likely to encounter medium problems but not too hard.

hi rocky77. Could you advise if the EZ solution advanced maths come with CD / CAT test like the Manhattan GMAT books? I am actually planning to order Manhattan GMAT or ez solutions books (but not both due to $$ constraint) and would like to find out which is good ..thankss

Hi gmattering666, let me tell you some of the basic differences between the EZ Solutions GMAT series and Manhattan series:

-EZ GMAT series has a set of 9 books exclusively dedicated to GMAT quant; whereas, Manhattan books have 5.
-EZ GMAT series is definitely more in-depth, in fact, at times, you may think it's rather too detailed; whereas, Manhattan books are much briefer in their review.
-EZ GMAT series has two workbooks, one with medium difficulty level problems and the other with more difficult ones; whereas, Manhattan books has no such options.
-EZ GMAT series do not rely on the OG; whereas, the Manhattan books do.
-EZ GMAT series has books with pages that are filled with text, not an inch is left wasted (I don’t know why they didn’t spread their books in more pages); whereas, in Manhattan books, you’ll see the text widely spread out.
-EZ GMAT series will take you at least twice as much time to go through as the Manhattan books.
-EZ GMAT series do not come with CAT practice tests; whereas, Manhattan books do. However, with the EZ books you won’t feel the need to seek any additional help.

As a final note, with the EZ series, you can be assured that you'll leave no stone left unturned, they cover each every aspect of the GMAT you can imagine. If you try your hand on the OG after the EZ books, you’ll see the difference in your performance. The Manhattan books are also good, but it depends on what you are looking for, an in-depth review, or just a basic brush-up. Let me know if you have any further questions. Just to let you guys know, I just ordered the books from amazon. I agree with gizmo and rocky77. I don’t have two of the EZ books, so I can’t yet speak for those, but the other books have been a great help to me. When I first started with the EZ books, I was rusty in even some of the basic math concepts, but not anymore. Now I feel I can get a score I want to get admission in my hometown school. I am waiting for the other books to arrive and I’ll leave my feedback once I get them.

May order more of the quant series since its so highly recommended ..after all, i am 4 mths away from my GMAT, ample time to catch up. Tks will ask u again if there is any doubt

Thanks gmattering666. In my opinion, you should buy 1-2 books, see if you like them and if they suits your needs, and then decide for yourself what works out best for you as an individual.
