Following are the best ways to avoid making silly mistakes in math problems:
-When you get your answer, plug it back in the problem and see if it makes sense. -Solve the problem using a different approach and see if you arrive at the same answer. Hope this helps, and remain extremely careful while doing calculations. |

If you are finishing questions too fast and making silly mistakes, then I guess that problem could be overcome by using some other method like back substitution or logical fitness of the answer you have arrived at.. that could reduce silly errors in a big way !
