Permutation, Combination and Probability

Guys,

I was wondering how should I prepare for Permutation, Combination and Probability type problems. I have read articles from guys who have scored above 700 that they have not faced more than 1 question in the actual test.

Is it worth devoting time to absorb all the concepts on Permutation, Combination and Probability?

In my opinion, you should not ignore them. You may see permutation/combination problems, specially when you go over 650-700.

I also agree that we should not ignore probability question. But it is not true that we can see this type of question if we go over 650-700, because in my previous test I got only 450 (Q...? i can't remember exact score but was below 25) and got a hardest probability question.

I agree, one can see a permutation/combination or probability question at any score level. However, you are likely to see a much more tricky one once you are at the 650-700 level.

wushu22 is on the way!
Plus, probability and permutations are like going to be a part of the course work once you get into an MBA program, so why not learn it now?

Yes, permutation, combination, probability, sequence, and patterns, are all important topics for the gmat.
