Looking for GMAT Study Material & advice
Hi to all. I've shelved my GMAT exam twice already since I felt that my scores on the Powerprep tests were not up to mark. I was supposed to have given the test on 28Nov04, but post poned it to 05Feb05, thinking that another 2 months of study will help me achieve 700+. I was quite confident of scoring atleast a 680 this time around after my scores on Kaplan/Princeton and Arco were quite promising. Esp. when I keyed in my scores on the estimator(http://www.gmatclub.com/content/reso...ator/index.php), I was always 700+. My confidence level 3 weeks before the test was high. As per plan, I was to take powerprep -II 2-3 weeks before the actual test.....the result was very disappointing - just a 620!!! I have gone through Kaplan, Princeton & Arco, although was never able to lay my hands on the Official Guide since I did not get one. My weakness is critical reasoning. Although, I did quite well with the Kaplan CRs, I guess Official Guide CRs will be the key to getting them right on the exam. I stay in Qatar and tried my best to get the Official Guide from other places, all in vain. I'll be in Bangalore(India) on a vacation for two weeks, i.e. 3Feb05 - 18Feb05. Will be grateful to anyone who'll be able to sell his/her study material, esp. the Official Guide. Also, am looking forward to some advice from the forum users on how to proceed with further preparations to reach a 700+ on the test. Best Regards. |
