How do I start studying for analogies?

Analogies (quite a useless measure of your ability to succeed in graduate school, IMO) involve essentially two skill areas:

1. Vocab knowledge

2. Ability to see relationships between two words.

So, your first job is to build up your vocab; your second job is to try to see the relationships. After a while, you will notice that there are many common relationship types that you will see over and over again.

Practice is key, and of course, be sure to visit us here often and ask any questions you have. There are lots of people who can help out. :)
