Should I skip Powerprep?

I have done ETS paperbased test and received 550!

I really want to touch OG and 'kill' all my weaknesses! (DS & SC)

I feel there's no point in touching PP since I will still get 500!

What do you guys think?

Re: Should I skip Powerprep?

The answer depends on how much time you have before the test...

if you are not taking the test in the next month or so, it may be worthwhile to refer to other materials to build basics and then try PP once more, and follow it up with OG.

if you do not have too much time, you could go ahead with doing OG.

Obelixious,

I have been trying this GMAT since the last 2 months, but I am disappointed since this is my 4th practice!

Of course, 2 months ago I was ZERO!

Ananda, the best advice I can give you is get used to taking the GMATPrep tests. I took the test maybe over 20 times, just working on accuracy, timing, and efficiency. I realized that my performance was hindered under timed conditions, so the only way to remedy my problem is to time myself EVERY time I studied. I would say I can't argue with my results, but everybody will have a different experience. Hope that helps.

I am studying on the OG 11th edition now,and so far I found all the questions easy,I solved 180 PS and 100 Ds so far,and didn't have problems with any question, what does that suppose to mean,is it the OG is really easy or that I am getting better with practice cuz I got in GMATprep 1510 (i got very low in Verbal) and on GMATprep2=530(Q39 V23!!)
