Latest GMAT Score/Old GMAT score

Can anyone let me know universities take the old GMAT score in consideration?

I would like to know if they take
- average of all the scores
- highest score
- latest score

this totally depends on the school, best would be check the website of the school you are applying to, or to speak to someone in AdCom.
