i have a good one years time before i plan to write GRE...
how do i start off and how can i use this time effectively to crack the exam? some of u may feel one year is too much but i want to prepare slowly and more importantly pace the whole thing well without any tension of having to complete within a cretain time period. also can someone suggest some good software to download other than the one in http://www-ec.njit.edu/~grk4352/ that gives the pronounciation of the words along with the meaning, root and usage |

A year's kinda a long time to prep. I'd do vocab now and not start the practice tests until a few months before. You'll burn out. Learn new words steadily and then start your practice tests 3 or so months before.
