or should i just stick with the official guide and some other book (a toss between kaplan and princeton). I've already done some studying with crack-gmats reviews and kaplans cd but not sure where to go from here.

hey. Thanks for the reply. i actually followed a link to this site a while back from another site. but never went through the content. You don't recommend buying any books though? i can't go through the zip files just yet since I don't have office installed on this laptop (my main pc is down for the count for the moment). don't mind paying for something as long as it pays off at the end.

You don't need MS Office to unzip files. You can download free unzippers at www.pkzip.com .

I have seen most of the GMAT+ things that are floating around, and I think you'll be very disappointed when you see them. They are merely bad photocopies of bad printings of questions. There are many typos and incorrect answers. And much of the stuff that people sell comes from the downdowndown.net site. It's up to you, though!

yeah i know about unzipping. just saw that it has a *.doc extension. you wouldn't recommend kaplan and kaplan 800? I saw the books on the recommended list but then again I've read that the books are not good examples of what I will be facing in the test. I'll probably end up buying the two mentioned along with the official guide.
