    Powerprep vs GMATPrep

Did any one try out the new GMATPrep available for download in www.mba.com

They say that the questions in this software will mostly not be in the 11th edition of the Official Guide which they will release in August or so(3 books). http://www.princetonreview.com/mba/t...ype=GMAT-LEARN

I just want to know a couple of questions
    1) how different are the questions and the difficulty of the questions compared to the Powerprep.
    2) Are the questions in GMATPrep same or similar to the questions in Powerprep.
    3) Which do you think is the close estimator of the actual test. I feel that Powerprep quant is easy(Got 50, didnt touch OG and just did Princeton Review).

Thats good that quant is slightly more difficult as I felt that the Powerprep quant is slightly easy. About answers being wrong, I am apprehensive about that as this is being monitored I think by Pearson who are going to take over from ETS.
    Thanks adonis7881 for your inputs.
Do post those problems in the forum, you can get answers from some experts here and also their explanations which will defintely help in preparation.

Others please post your experiences about the topic. Thx

As GMAT says, they are mostly not in 11th edition of OG. But they might be in other editions of OG and I hope they dont mix with the 10th edition of OG.

not that they're difficult but rather the math PS is more skewed towards ACT exam by ACT and not much towards GMAT..I think if ACT guys are gonna do it, they'll use from their ACT math question pool,,, we may expect a change in pattern eventually

...and maybe with DS no more!

I dont think so they will change the format or the difficulty type next year when ACT will take over ETS.
As many people say that the real GMAT math is slightly more difficult than what is in OG which mean than what is in Powerprep. So this new GMATPrep might be closer to real GMAT than Powerprep. But as this is the first version it might be slightly skewed than the GMAT.
Guys, please do post about the differences if anyone took tests in GMATPrep and Powerprep.
