Calling All Gmat Veterans
a complete gmat virgin here, after just hearing about the test from my university of choice.
i am currently in fulltime work and am able to do about one hour/two hours per night week days and 4-6hrs weekends. i come from a maths background and have to make my application by mid feb which means taking the gmat early feb. by my calculations taking into account xmas holidays, work project til end this month etc i have 6 wks to make my preparations for a target score of 680..(650 min. required). due to these time constraints i am not gonna by laods of books and was thinking of just og11, kaplan 800, and kaplan; plus of course all the practice questions / tests i can get my hands on via the web. basically im calling on the veterans to give me an outline study plan i might follow to reach my goal, which i realise will be difficult given the constraints. i was thinking...2weeks math, 2weeks verbal, 2 weeks practice tests and reviewing weaknesses in tests. all suggestions and thoughts on my plight are welcomed. thankyou will baker |
