a) None as with the given perimeter and sides none of them will form a traingle. (2,5,2/8/12)
Hi Guys
Took a GMAT prep right now.
630 and am pissed off. 49 and 28.
Verbal was a shocker. 1 SC till the 14th Question !!
Lots of RC's, my weak area.
Am dumbfounded, Maths 9 Mistakes !! its was unbelievable for me.
Am sure with some practice I can rule out the silly mistakes.
But RC's are a big big problem for me. Seem never ending and am
all over.
Didn't do the review, but the answer to one of the ques was wrong.
Here it is :
Q) What is the preimeter of a triangle with sides 2 and 5
i) 9
ii) 15
iii) 19
a) None b) i only c) i and ii only d) iii only e) i and iii only
Answer ??

yeah, the answer is none.
Don't know what happened to me.
Seems like I'm having a real bad day. I had answers to as many
as 6 questions which I marked incorrectly out of the 9 wrong !
In this question also I wrote it down 3<x<7
Dunno why, I thought 2 is a possible value, hehe Crazy.
(Dileepsh, I didn't phrase the ques correctly. Possible value
of perimeter)
Another question x^4 + y^4 = 100, max value of x ?
I marked 0<x<3 when the answer sqrt(10) clearly lies b/w 3 and 6.
Just had a bad day with Quant, but RC is a real prob for me.
Didn't work on it at all and am realising it now. I guess, I still have time.
No SC's wrong.![]()
GMAT Prep hit me hard with the RC questions. I had 4 RC's in the first 24
questions ! Just two SC's in them. Does this happen on the
real exam too ? Not that it cannot but does it frequently ?
I'll take a break for a week. Am going through some RC book and startegies and will also work on loads of problems.

JJs are actual test Qs that u may find in the exam. But the JJs in the link I have given in my debriefing are not formatted well. Some r unintelligible. Sets r okay. Sets are not retired tests, Some are retired and some still u may find in the exam. In total u will get nearly 400 Qs in maths and 400 in Verbal in the Sets.Originally Posted by tamGmat

Its better to practice from the sets or jj's.
Why are they named jj's ? crazy name.
Are there any sets on actual fromat also, I mean, 37 and 41 questions ?
And also can you list all the official material that is available in order of
importance ? Like Official Guide jj's Sets etc....
Can u also tell me the set numbers which should be practiced ?
Can someone please attach the document

Hi -
I am thinking of taking my GMAT around March 14th. I am actually going to schedule an appointment this weekend.
I just took the Gmat Prep Test1 and scored 660 ( quant 44, verbal 36). I am currently reviewing each sections to figure out what I need to work on.
Is this an "OK" score? Would I get something similar during the real GMAT?
My goal is to score high 600 - low 700. Is that feasible?
Thanks for your help guys!
Letusdream.
Dun keep any score in mind. Just practice and improve
on the sections as much as you can.
The result would be rewarding.
660 is a good score to start with. (no prep)
A little more practice and you can easily score in 700's.
But as I said earlier, improve on the sections and go through each
and every mistake of urs.(review the correct ones too)
