I had given my GMAT in November and got a score of 690 Q(49) V (30)

Well its a New Year and a New Dream....So here we go again.......I am planning to give it again in the month of March

Looking forward to lads of support all over again from Chix, vaithy, Kindergardenkid, Arjmen, Karma and all others!!!!

I am also taking the test in March.

690 is a pretty good score and ppl don't recommend taking the GMAT again.
Seems you got some great scores in ur practice tests!

How would you compare the KAP test (verabl only) to the real
GMAT. I am always losing time and never catch up, in the end
I am short of atleast 10 mins.
How would you compare the two in terms of timing ?

During my GMAT exam I had a strong feeling that I was soing pretty good in Verbal Section; But the final score was....well not great.

I did only Kaplan Test 1; Which was very Tough as per the GMAT test standards.

Timimng is one of my problem areas too;specially in Verbal;

Yeah, I'll go through Urusula' brief again.

Well, that's surprising. Ppl generally say that if they feel that their section
is going good, then in the end the result is also good, cause u get a sixth
sense of getting the answers right.

I think you gave the test in a hurry. This time take lotsa practice tests
and stay focussed in the end.

I think you are capable of scoring big.

Wow!..nice to see you back again...I almost didn't study for the last 1 month...Work was very hectic that I reach home at 11:30 PM in the night...
The job is really pissing me off.....and next couple of months is going to be very tough..Appraisal period is coming...Hmmmm!

But, anyway...I'll start again...I want to kick this GMAT off as soon as possible ..with a great score...I am going to start verbal SC ...and let's make sure we update this thread every day with our progress....

So vaithy; how is your prep;and when are you planning to take the exam;

Good Luck for your appraisal;Even i had my Appraisal and Got a double promotion; to the position of TeamLeader ). Guess thats a good start for the year and thought why not give another shot at GMAT too; Maybe this is a really lucky year for me.

Ya TAMGMAT I took very few Full length test. But guess I will not lose focus now.

Update on this weekend Study:
This weekend...went thru all the stuff that I had for my GMAT; Realized That I have enough stuff to last me a Life time for GMAT prep.

My Strategy number 1 I have started wit R&M to cover allmy grammer basics;

Strategy 2: Following up with sentencecorrection.com and our Good old verbal section

I intent to do this for the next 1 week

Heard that people are getting lots of SC's in the test.

Good that you are started the prep. I am thinking of prepping but I am not getting enthu to start. Lets see when I will start.
