About Installing GPrep Software

Hello all,

The fact that the questions in Gprep get updated every now and then is quite clear to me but what i doubt is "what should be the ideal period after which i should uninstall and then install the software again so that i ideally get all new questions".

I have not tried doing that yet. Just finished with one test out of the two, but would definitely give the second one only if i can get a fresh set in a months time.

So, people who know about this, please let me know so that i can download the software at the right time.

Regards,
Surya

You guys Rock!

Today I uninstalled and reinstalled. Then I tried Practice Test 1 and found no question that I had not seen before. The DAT files that came with today's download are all dated December 2005. As as far as I can see it is a myth that uninstalling and reinstalling will give you a new database of questions. The only difference I have seen so far is a corrected typo in a PS question.

The fact is, the database in GMATPrep is much larger than was that in PowerPrep, and so if you do Practice Test 1 or Practice Test 2 a second or third time, you will see a lot of new questions.

I just uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled. I don't see any new questions for practice test 1 too....so came online to this forum, coz I'm surprised.

Glad to know its not me, and that you face the same thing 800Bob.

For me its not the new questions, its the fact that I sit down for 4 hours to do a test....new questions....I think TM has it all.
