    Hey guys....okay...i bought a book...(barren's) and attempted to study but...i've been lazy to sit and study on my own...i'm thinking of taking a prep course (princition review)...is it more value added to prepare with a book first..before taking a prep course???? I want to get the most out of my course...thanks..

    Yes, it's a good idea to do some basic prep before you start the course. If you go in completely green it may take you longer to get familiar with the GMAT and that could waste precious class time for you and for the other students. I would definitely try a practice test to see what it's like, and review one of the prep books as well. Since you're taking the Princeton Review class, it might be a good idea to review one of their books (Cracking the GMAT is the one that's available in bookstores - you'll get different materials in class) so you can also get familiar with their approach.
