Is the GMAT tougher if taken in INDIA ?

I had read a long time back somewhere in TestMagic that the GMAT becomes tougher if taken from a center in India.

Please let me know if there any truth in this notion.

Thanks,
Suvajyoti

It is not same...Atleast the scorinng pattern is not......Although it may seems an untenable point but the bottom line is that the scoring criteria is easy in Australia and europe......Well I gave in india....but this is wat I have heard.....

Maybe you should check with GMAC.... and let us know.

If someone was looking at the actual GMAT scores from each region, and those scores say that Australia and Europe have the highest scores, it does not mean that the test is easier there....

It may be that very few of us take the GMAT down here; only the top applicants actually get off their *** and do the GMAT, whereas in other parts of the world a lot of 'average' people take the test and that drags down the scores... Or it could simply be that we are a lot smarter hehe.
