I think 3-5 wrong average about a 740-760 on Quant score.
Here are some suggestions: Are you getting careless errors or are they just tough problems that you do not know how to solve? The reason I am asking is that if you are getting careless errors then you could work on improving your carelessness by slowing down (assuming you have adequate time) or by doing some problems multiple ways? (as a way to check your answer). On some/most Quant questions, correct solutions can be obtained by different methods. Ex. for prob. and combination quesitons, there are usually more than one way of solving these questions. Similarly for other types of problems. Solve them algebraically or by plug-ins, etc. However if you are getting problems wrong because of lack of skill/knowledge then your prep shoud be geared towards learning how to solve those type of problems you are getting incorrect. Hope this helps. |
