Breaking the 600 Barrier
Hi guys - This is my first time posting so here it goes.
Ive been going at this for a while now, a year and a half, and have taken PR courses, Kaplan private tutoring and now Manhattan books. I've hit 620s on a few of the Kap tests but when I go in for the actual it looked like this: GMAT 1 - 550 GMAT 2 - 530 (Q33, V 31..or something around that) Less then impressive, I know.. ![]() Anyway, just frustrated that I cant seem to get over the 600 hump and was hoping that you could offer me some insight. Maybe the OG is the golden ticket? Thanks everyone! |

I do not think you can really prepare for the GMAT without the OG. The questions in that book will be the most similiar to the actual GMAT. The Manhattan books (especially the SC book) should help your verbal score a bit.
