Hi Guys,
Just gave another PR test this afternoon, my third test. I've prepped for a month and have another couple weeks to go. But I'm having a major problem in concentration. The Math section is fine but by the time the first reading comprehension passage has gone, my attention is next to zero, and this is when I bypassing the AWA'S !!. I'm guessing many questions cause I bovine mastication'nt get my mind to focus . Any ideas from you veterans on how to tackle this !!Ciao, Nikki |

Nikki,
My two cents :Obviously giving multiple prep exams in simulated conditions is the best strategy to improve the concentration. Since I did not attempt many prep tests, I ensured that I sat for 75 mins/100 mins at one stretch when working on the gmat study packs. And as i mentioned in my debrief, do ensure that you get a proper night's sleep prior to the actual exam day. This is one important advice that you won't find in any gmat prep books. All the best |

Hi there,
Thanks for the advice. Went back to read your debrief again. Makes a lot of sense. Must admit that I'm very surprised that you took only two practice tests. Most people take many out of sheer stress !! but I guess different things work for different people. Will try and learn as much as I can out of your debrief. Let see how it works out :O) Ciao, Nikki Quote:
