@MCapri - Well seems like ISB2009 dream is fading. I was trying to file my application and as per their rules they need "minimum2 years of full time post qualification work ex"..now that seems to be a problem because I was working on industry funded projects for 1.5 years during my masters and then got absorbed by the same company last year. So going by the ISB quote and quote my work ex is 1 year though for all employment purposes it has been considered as 2.5 years. I have mailed ISB but no replies yet. So lets see. I checked out XLRI, IIFT and MDI. Seems like I apply under NRI. But then the advantage of ISB is that they have phone interview for candidates living outside India which the other schools don't. So if these schools decide to schedule their interview rounds in a span of 2 months, I won't that many days off from work to come to India and appear. So I am a completely confused. Should I wait for a year or just apply to the other Indian B-schools.

i dont know why they are charging so much, they are having same kind of infrastructure and faculty as any good b school , they claim that they are charging 20.00 lacs and at the same time average package is 20.00 lacs one will get, hence one can recover the fees in next one year.

Also, wud like to know whether ISB really offers value for money for people with around 6 yrs exp. or IIMs are a better choice. |
