yup man chidren is the plural for child so children's is the what belongs to children and any form as childrens' is wrong usage

anytime man..you are most welcome...

as for SC...depends on how much time you have before your GMAT and how much time you are spending everyday on prep...1000 SC is very good but obviously very exhaustive...
if you are good with then perfectly fine...if you need something smaller...start with OG11 and then the seperate book for verbal review from "official guide"...that might help as explanations are pretty neat...
1000 SC doesnt have explanations to its answers and you will have to resort to forums to find explanations....

hi all....
any words of wisdom for RC...
i am pretty bad at that...obviously reading a lot is the "true word of wisdom"
but dont have enough time...thinking of taking GMAT in aug 1st week...need to work on RC...please suggest...

try to concentrate little harder on the rc first paragraph as according to the rule of english the author is supposed to convey the central idea of the rc in the first paragraph itself once you get the central idea the rc is a cakewalk simply put more time into the first paragraph and you will find the difference
