Hi ,

I am a late entrant to the forum and preparation in general. Am going to apply for the class of '09 at ISB. Have a few questions and would appreciate if someone can throw some light.

- I see tht most ppl have booked a date in July time frame. I have booked for one in Sep and am wondering if there would be enough time to make it. Is there anyone else in the forum who is taking the test that late?

- Would like to know more about the admission criteria at ISB. I have 3 yrs of work experience as Software Engineer and a Masters degree in CS(3.9/4 GPA). I feel that my lack of experience in leadership roles is going to be a big hit even though i might manage a reasonable GMAT score. Please post the general profile of students who make it to ISB. Specifically i would like to know if folks with similar profile as mine make it to ISB.

- Please suggest methods to prepare for the interview and any information as to what one can expect in the interview.

Thanks in advance.

Sai

Hi itspc
1 is better. 'to come' is probably not. I don't know why though, I just feel it is not right. May be concision error in 2?

hi sai...
why you see everyone taking the test in july end is because the first cycle for applications in ISB will close on 15th sept...now you can do the math...

If you want to go for second cycle then you have ample amount of time so relax and prepare...

Hi,
I got some 75 minutes verbal and maths test from 800 score.com. Somehow the RCs in the verbal test are quite lengthy. I am not sure how good these tests are. Has anyone taken these tests?
I am appearing for GMAT on st july. Have completed OG11, OG verbal review, OG MAth review, KAPLAN Premier edition and currently doing KAPLAN 800.
Is this enough? Or should i go for 1000 series also?
Is there anyone who has already given GMAT and could share some info?

Thanks,
Neha
