I have done my masters degree in biotechnology from IMB, University of Queensland , Australia (majo project areas medicinal chemistry) got a GPA of 5/7. I got Deans recoomendation for my high achivements in my projects. I have 1st class bachelor degree from India. I have varied part time work experience here in Australia for two years. I want to do MBA from any good B schools in India. I am taking GMAT in august this year. It will be great if some one can tell me looking at my profile, in which schools should I apply and what will be the Score in GMAT I need.

Nice to see ISB and IIM thread, although most of the ppl r looking out for ISB.
I started my preparation long back. But due to lot of other distractions I couldn't appear for the test and started all over again last month. I'm not sure whether I'm really targeting for ISB as I'm not sure whether ISB will provide the kind of platform I'm looking out for. ![]() May be IIM-A PGPEX. ![]() Anyway it all depends on my score as well. May be I will just go with one of the top 10 schools in US itself as I live here. |

well friends,
first of all munna2002 ISB is Indian School of Business. minimusm gmat score for ISB last year was 650, hence any score around 700 will be considered good, for IIMs good score will be around 720+. this is what i feel |

after completing OG11 and OG-verbal, og-Maths, i headed to Kaplan GMAt Review..it has got 6 practice tests..and 50 questions for each section to practice along with some tips. somehow my accuracy is not very good for the questions in this book as compared to OG. anyone else facing similar issues? Are the questions in KAPLAN Gmat review tougher than OG?

Hi
I am also preparing for ISB/IIMs this year. A couple of questions: 1) Which book is necessary apart from OG? 2) Can you let me know what is the approximate accuracy we have to aim for getting a score of 740+(if you could give it section wise it would be great..) Thanks in advance... hoping to share and gain from this forum. Thanks Vivek |
