Hi All,
Nice to see that you have started one thread for GMAT & ISB........ I am currently working in an IT company for the last 1-1/2 years. So my work schedule is a bit hectic. Is anybody here with the same profile? Then how are you guys preparing for the test. I have done my GRE and TOEFL with scores 1150 and 250(CBT) respectively. So i don't think i will have any problems with the preparation other than time management. Please share any materials links... I need Kaplan800 softcopies... Please help me with this guys.... Thanks a lot ![]() |

Date of Test: 4th August No of Hours of Daily Prep: 1 hour Books and Materials followed:1000 SC's, CR's, OG,Princeton Helpful tips: Maths is quite simple, just got to give adequate time on each question. For Verbal, practice, practice n practice. 1000 SC's, CR's and RC's and most importantly follow the forum religiously. There are really gud explanations provided by a lot of GMAT GURU's... |

Hi MCapri,
Thanks for the info... I have seen that you have 2 months approx.. But you said 1 hr per day. I dont know where you stand regarding the quant & verbal.. But for me 1 hr a day is merely enough. what about the OG? What r u doing in OG? Quant or Verbal? Im a little skeptical about your schedule. not to offend you my friend. what do you think? can you explain...... ![]() Last edited by samratisking : 05-23-2008 at 12:31 PM. |

These are my scores Quant:47 Verbal:35 Overall:650, Actually my RC was aweful, 4 out of 13 correct...didnt practice it for like a month now and kept postponing.Others, please describe your schedule as well, so that it helps the other contenders.. |

Hi MCapri,
Thanks for sharing your test scores. I think, I should take a prep test too, to find out where my caliber has taken me. We shouldn't be any more dubious about our preparation.. Its obvious that we need to give it more time and see.. any valuable suggestions from anybody here....Thanks a lot!!!!!!!! ![]() |

Hi,
I took a GMAT prep test last weekend and got a score of 660. Quant: 48 RC 35 I noticed that a lot of SC were wrong. This is a disappointment coz i have already completed OG and Kaplan:-( I need to do Kaplan 800 and 1000 series too. My exam is on 1st july. Do u think i have sufficent time? I study for 2.5 hrs everyday and weekends some 5 hrs. |

Hi Nehaz,
You have sufficient time . Try doing that Manhattan SC and Also check for the Spidey Notes for important tips regarding the SCs......But what I want to say is just plan according to your daily schedule. First know about yourself, I mean whether you are a day worker or a night worker. Then choose your convenient time and study smart( I don't say Hard). Fix some short term goals like, " I will complete this Sentence correction part in 5 days" and so on which will help in in long term..You will definitely get 700+.... All the Best for your prep yaar!!!!!!! |
