Thank you, scorpion. Do you advise me to take GMAT Prep 1 & 2 now or after a month of studying for Quant and SC?
I have already started reviewing my math on Manhattan Math Guide. Then I want to look at Manhattan SC, etc. Do you think it is a good strategy? I haven't taken the GMAT Prep yet. |

Do all the prep for whatever duration you have planned. Reinstall the software and give GMAT Prep 1 & 2 at the end of your prep (you will get most the questions different and by this time you would have forgotten the old questions) End your prep with GMAT Prep 2 and do not take any test after it apart from actual GMAT. That is it. Last edited by scorpion.ks : 05-14-2008 at 09:25 AM. |

interesting point skorpion.
You can also keep the info from the first test, by moving to other location the file GMATPrep\exams\Practice Test 1.xact and Practice Test 1.log in order to replace it when you want to make a feedback of that test. |

Agree with Scorpion.
And choose right material to attack each section such as Manhattan Sc guide to understand scentence correction. If you look into each of the forum section , you will different reference to material that people have found useful. |

I'm not an expert when it comes to GMAT, but i'll tell you what has worked out for me so far:
1- Go over the material from OG11, quant and verbal guides too. 2- Record every type of the questions in quant in a different sheet or card and try to understand the concept behind it (for example: did u know that 2^3+2^3 = 2^4?). 3- After you are done with the first two steps, which will take you around 3 weeks, try and take the first GMATprep and see how you do. 4- Record the questions you have answered wrong and try to find their correct solution from this forum, gladly the people over here have almost answered any questions you might think of, including the ones you've answered wrong/right in GMATprep. 5- Obviously, if you have studied all types of questions from OG11 and the supp. quant and verbal enough, those questions you have answered wrong were not among the ones you have recorded in your sheets or cards, you add them to your sheet. 6- take the second GMATprep and so on.. I hope this strategy helps, good luck Last edited by Cujo : 05-25-2008 at 03:55 AM. Reason: missing word |
