I am so depress over my score, I need your help please please ...
I am non-native speaker, so I have trouble with the verbal section. However, my math part was not high either (no excuse for that, when math is universal).
I have been studied really hard, but my score is improve so little and it was not enough to get anywhere (it is too embarrassed to even mention here). I am really upset with what happened, I could not even help myself not to cry on the way home after the test, it was really really devastated (I feel so d*mp). I have been in the USA over 3 years, preparing GMAT for over 4 weeks (approximately 8 hours per day). I would like to know average time it takes for Native speaker prepare for GMAT to get about 600-700 score? And please advise me what I need to do to get score in the rang 600-700. I will do whatever it takes. What I should do in my study plan for non-native speaker? Thanks in million!! |

Hi,
To be very frank, a score of 600-700 is not difficult to achieve. Just requires u to learn the tricks of the game. SC: U dont have to be great in grammar, take the Manhattan SC as a Bible, read it whenever u r free. chk out Spidey's notes. Practice 1000 SC's, All questions from OG CR: 1000 CR'S, OG RC: Practice n only Practice. Quant: Solve the OG.Don't get tensed. Give around 30 minutes for the 1st 10 questions. Should do u good. And last, but not the least.Keep faith ![]() |

Hi Ping!Ping,
What ever MCapri said is true.... All you have to do is concentrate more on that and just forget about your past and go ahead with the future.... Take the past failure as a lesson and don't repeat the mistakes which you have done at that time.. That's very important... Take your time...First of all just give some prep test and then check your score and in which areas you are weak, so that you can concentrate more on those areas and that gives you enough courage to face the test... Don't work on it continuously just give some gap for every 2 hours..... Enjoy your life....All the Best for your preparation!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

Sorry Ping!Ping, don't be dissapointed. It is essential that you recover from this bad step on your way to tackle GMAT.
Stay in a good mindset first, then make a feed back of your mistakes. About the time needed to reach your goal score it depends on how you scored in your last try. |
