Please clarify the procedure before starting the GMAT.

Hi all,
If any one has already taken GMAT please clarify me the procedure from entering the test center to getting the work station to give the test.Actually it is quite strange but i want to know what kind of treatment I can expect when i reach the test center. i mean 1)which doc. they will ask as a proof from the people who give GMAT in india. 2)how & when i have to give the name of the B-school i want to apply, can i write down names of my preferred school in piece of paper & show them, or they will ask me to fill a form. I also read somewhere that we have to find the Gmat code of B-school from the list. what if i can't find the code in that list or b-school name is not there at all.
please suggest me if i forgot any point.
please let me know all these if anyone has gone through same dilemma.

Thanks & Regards.

You don't need code. You just need name of schools. You will be shown page with search functionality and then you can search and select the schools.

for e.g. search for "Texas" can give you colleges such as "Texas A&M University" and others.
