Nope - there is no such indicator. I have read people getting about 16-17 SCs. So the mix of SC/CR/RC is really not 33% each.

I think there are different levels of difficulty even in RC, so if you're getting more of these q's you have to wonder how tough they are.
From the GMATprep, I notice that most tests (if not all) has about 4 essays. The number of questions associated with essays may vary.
If not mistaken, the total number of questions are about the same, what differs is the level of difficulty of the essay. To my understanding, GMAT does not rank which is tougher among RC, CA or SC
