Cool Experience..... In my opinion 45 days of preparation works fine.... The last date(Deadline) for ISB is considered for 2 rounds.. Round-1--15th September and Round-2--- 1st December.. you need not buy the OGs... Search in 5GB of free space to upload and share your files, photos, videos and music - esnsips..com and 4shared.com - free file sharing and storage Hope that helps... Hi all,
Good to see a link dedicated to ISB. I need your input on GMAT cutoff score for ISB. I gave exam last week and I scored 500. My profile is: 5 years of experience in IT Academic track record. 80%+ score And overseas exposure : 9 month in S korea as a consultant.(may not add any value) I know GMAT score is very low. I am planning to take test second time. Still I want to know what exactly they look for and how I can make my profile up to it. Thanks and Regards, shrnayak |

That's my problem too.... There is nothing like cut-off score for ISB... If you ask some one for cut-off he gives you the Mean or Median of scores last year.... That's it..... May be above 680 will work for your profile. Not sure of that... The lowest ever accepted was around some 580 I think... Thanks & Regards, SamratisKing ![]() |

I took my GMAT on 16th Aug and scored 720(50Q,38V) (Ask AdmissionsConsultants)AWA-6.
Background : I have a work-ex of 22 months in one of the leading MNCs in India. I completed my Engineering from one of the premier institutes in India with an above average GPA of 8.2/10. My academeic track record has been good throughout my career(Scored above 85% most of the times). I have achievements in certain extracurricular activities like organizing national level fests being front-runner for same, certifications in financial markets(My interest is in Finance) to name a few,but somehow I feel that I cannot boast of them. As my work-ex is 22 months,is that a hinderance in getting an addmission. I was looking into the requirements ISB and it had a requirement of 4-5 years work-ex. How can I improve my profile so that I can apply in the second round of ISB Would be grateful if the above querries are resolved |

Hey ppl,
Just submitted my ISB R-1 application and feeling so relieved now! I wanted to let you all know about what a great experience I had with the General-Ed.com folks. You should definitely check out their website - they are a bunch of great people from various top B schools. Not just the essay, even the discussions I had with them were of great help... my thumbs up! |

Guys,
I have few questions. If someone can answer me that would be really great. I have total 10 years of exp out of which 8 years in USA with various retail clients. I completed my PMP and many tech certificates. I also have many leadership training certificates and sports certificates at university level. Conducted many sports tournaments within the company and outside the company. Its been more than 10 years that i have worked on any math or logical reasoning. How much time it would take to get a good score in GMAT and what is the good score for my experience.I am planning to get next Summer into ISB. When should my application reach ISB. What are the other factors involved for selection. How are campus placements. Please let me know. Thanks a lot for initiating this thread. |
