Recommendation for Strategy&Management in GB

Hey there,

I'm looking for an university that offers postgraduate education in a subject useful for becoming a management/strategy consultant. However, I don't think I've got much of a chance to be accepted in the top10 or even the top20.

Until about half a year ago I studied physics in Germany with very good grades, but without any special honors - I'm just one out of many, and I've got no work experience if you don't want to include internships that belonged to the studies themselves.

In about a month, I'm taking a shot at the GRE, with a guess of Q750-800 and V500-600, judging by powerprep practice test results.

Does anyone of you know a suitable programme? I appreciate any hints you can give.

i think even with a degree in physics and very good grades (and maybe an outstanding qant. gre) you should consider a couple of the top ranked master programs. i guess you plan to apply for 2010? for this fall it would be veeery late!

my suggests would be the following:

UK
-Warwick MSc Business Analytics and Consulting:
-Imperial MSc Management
-Cass MSc Management
-KCL MSc International Management
-LSE MSc Management & Strategy, MSc Management (2y), MSc International Management
-LBS Masters in Management

Outside UK:
-HEC Masters in Management
-SSE Masters in Management & Economics
-HSG MA Strategy & International Management

Make sure you do some kind of business related internship this summer!
