Heart mediocre GRE (1470), please help~~~

so I did my first GRE this morning (well, first GRE that would count), and I got Verbal: 690, Quant: 780. Currently I am taking a specialist (similar to 2 majors) in physics, and a major in math at University of Toronto (people rank it the 22nd in North America). My GPA in the relevant subjects is 3.7, and it may translate higher, because I heard rumors that the max in the State is 4.3, but it is 4.0 in Canada. GPA with all subjects combined is 3.41 (not too good with humanities here), and I am seeking grad school in physics. I have research experience in math and physics, but I don't have publication.

Is there a chance that I can get into good grad schools in the States? All I am looking for is a school at the same level or higher level compare to University of Toronto, and I would prefer schools on the west coast. Are there some suggestions for the schools that I can get into?

    thank you so much!!

GRE mediocre? Are you kidding me? 1470 is definitely a good score.
UT is a great school in North America for sure. I hear schools in CA
are not getting enough funding these days and a comparatively smaller
number of offers are given to international students (with N without
scholarships). You can try U of Washington (well, I don't know much
about your specialization), the only reason being Seattle is undoubtedly
nicer than Toronto I bet you don't wanna go to Oregon, do ya?
    arc.

haha, nice comments arc. I went to UW for undergrad and it is a nice campus in a nice city. I live in Oregon currently and Washington is definitely a better place to live, both for school and after school.

    Your GRE is not mediocre.

But no research experience and a normal GPA of 3.4 is mediocre. Youll get into some fairly good schools....not the best ones though.
