penn state bioengineering interview invitation????

Hi all,

I am in trouble now..

I had my own sponsorship during MSc(including tuition and fees)
I got 97 from toefl(speking 22)
330V, 750 Q AWA awaiting from GRE
GPA 71/100 (but my ranking is in 10% of my class)
I had a phone interview w/ that prof before.

today I called him to inform about my gre scores but he says my verbal score is not enough and also my gpa is extremely low that would be a concern to admission committee too(he is one of admission committee), then he asked me if there is any other answers from anywhere and I told him I admitted from a school and I told about the other grad schools I applied. by the way my major is BIOengineering (bachelor of eng in bioeng in Turkey). Then he says what if I come to Penn State and he introduce me to the committe members. Then I told him I will email him about this in asap. now I am not sure about going. i am in Boston now and I afraid to be rejected after going all that way....
